We do not take that risk. Our 5-Pin NTC thermostat features a built-in secondary dry burn protection system:
Primary Electronic Detection: The integrated NTC thermistor continuously feeds real-time temperature data to the appliance MCU, scaling down power immediately if abnormal heating is detected.
Secondary Mechanical Backup: If the software fails, a foolproof backup thermal cutoff mechanism triggers independently based on pure physics. It physically breaks the circuit, ensuring the appliance remains 100% safe even under absolute dry-heating conditions.
When we talk to R&D engineers, they often complain about messy internal wiring. Multi-functional kettles require separate connections for power, sensors, and display interfaces, which usually means buying extra connector blocks and increasing manual assembly time.
We resolved this by adopting a five-pole (5 pins) structural design.
